Dear Friends of Miracle Place,
On thinking about the past year, we were aware of our families, our friends, our associates and all for whom our ministry exists especially Sister Rita Ann who passed away mid-year. We continue to ask God to repurpose our sorrow into continued dedication to her vision. Knowing that God’s providence is always with us to maintain a positive attitude when difficult things happen, we are able to work things out.
After two straight year of a virtual Fiesta, we’ve made the decision to gather in person but at half the capacity of previous years. This saddens us not only because of the financial loss, but also because we miss renewing all of our friendships, having an opportunity to express gratitude to you in a personal way to each of you, and just having a fun time at the Fiesta. We are happy to report the Fiesta was a success thanks to your flexibility and generosity!
Our ministries have continued in spite of the pandemic. The children and seniors are now able to gather in small groups with social distancing. Many of our families have faced eviction, expensive utility bills, sickness and hospitalizations. Due to your generosity, Miracle Place is able to assist our families with these emergent needs.
